Hello all,

Just a quick question. I am trying to install visual studio 6.0 on a work pc and I keep getting an error relating to the registry. The pc has windows 95, so I was wondering if it has something to do with the 64k limit. it will install most of the programs but interdev it does not install completely. I have a shortcut on my startmenu but when I click on it, I see the splash screen and then get an error about loading the environment dll. I am planning to upgrade the pc to windows 98, thinking this will solve the problem, but I thought I would ask anyway.

When I try to start InterDev the error is "Unable to load Development Environment DLL" . When I try to install the error is "Error writing to registry" or "Visual Studio was not completed correctly" but InterDev is the only one that will not launch after install.
