I have had to truncate quite a few databese recently, but they have always been db's that were updated once a day, from live data.

Our live web database log needs truncating (Current size 650MB, Space used 46MB)
are there any issues at all with truncating live data?

Or can i go ahead as usual

Thanks, i just want to make sure!

I would back up the database then truncate the log.

Thanks
