Quick web site selection into search engines and directories

I would like to have my site listed in all the major search engines and directories. When I register my site, they say it will take some time and maybe up to 2-3 months to get included.

Does anyone know of a way to get included quickly? Yahoo has express service which I used and also Looksmart has the same. But is there a service that you pay for to get into the top sites qucikly?

I would recommend you get your site listed with the Open Directory Project.

Most of the major search engines pull their information from there and it doesn't seem to take that long maybe 2 - 3 weeks.

Many of the engines have a link at the bottom of the first page that says "Add Your Link" and its free.

Please don't take this the wrong way but I strongly recommend that until you learn more about promoting your site through the search engines you do not pay to have it done.

You can buy keyword listings at auction and you can get them fast but I have clients who spend over a hundred dollars a day on these keywords. If you don't know what you're getting into you can end up in a bad place.

There are many other services that offer registrations and such but you need to do some research before you can even really know what you need to pay for.

Sometimes some engines list sites fast and other times and other engines never get them listed from one submission.

Drop me a note and I'll give you free three month subscription to a good promotion site where you can begin. You can submit your sites from there and get some good info along the way.
