quick way to list out all shares on a Microsoft server 2000 - 2003

We're migrating a newly purchased business into our enterprise. We want to move over all shares as is into new AD 2003 servers. The old system is a mixed environment of AD 2000/2003 server's. Are there any thorough ways to list out all shares with groups, users, rights, etc...

This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but do a search on scopy.exe from the reskit. It might prove to be useful with what you're doing.

You can use xcacls to list out the NTFS permissions on your directory tree.

For shares, you can use:

Rmtshare.exe remotely creates or deletes shares and grants access to shares.

Permcopy.exe copies share permissions from one share to another.

To get a list of shares, permissions including users and groups etc, try using DumpACL -

A really handy tool to have when you need to do migrations.
