not content =)

very early stage design for a small high end vw tuner (read: turbo vr6s!!)

anyways. It needs to be clean and smooth, but i feel something is lacking in the design, like an element is mising or not right? I am not a very experienced designer.

Don't worry about cross browser, this is all mocked up in IE right now.

content is almost 100% filler right now too. just want to know where to take it from here. (took me an hour to get it here...)

THANKS!!!

Search box would be nice.

A footer might get rid of that nagging "Something's Missing" feeling.

Other than that... nice work.

i'm not sure there will be need for a search box. basicly everything on the site is available from the front page, even all the products...for now... we'll see...

totaly forgot the footer. I knew it just looked wrong :>

ok. thanks alot!

anything else? i may have made a few minor changes..

Hi,

A good start, however I find those gradient backgrounds for the headers on the left and right to be hard to read. If you want a gradient then make it more subtle or get rid of it all together.

Hope this helps!

ok, thanks, I bet you they are way to light colored right? ?

My monitor is dying! its as bright as it goes and still to dark, so i accidently overcompensate most of my colors latley...

can I ask what browser? because all the text is in the solid section of the gradient bar on all my views. (netscape/pheonix/mozilla and IE) but most liekly my dying monitor...

thanks!

Hi,

It must be your monitor. I have a brand new one, using IE-6 and the gradient goes dark(left) --> light(right). The light part on the right is too light and shoyuld be a bit darker. That's what I meant about making the gradients more subtle, go from the dark color on the left to a slightly lighter color.

Hope this helps!

definatly, I havent had a problem recently because i have not done precicion color matching like a gradiant to a background in a long time!

I'll have to check it out. The gradiants are in jpg, which isn't holding the color accuratly, maybe thats part of the problem

thanks

Kevin
