I am programming a transfer to VM key on a 7209. I look at a set that already has this and the programming looks like so;

*1 (?)3353

Where the brackets are looks like a wrist watch. Any ideas?

Does f985 display a dn? It sounds like an external vm- f*1, dial out string.
Norstar vm trans by default is f986.

The wristwatch is a times pause. This is an external autodial button. You want a feature button. Have you looked in documentation. The feature code for VM Xfer is 986.

This is a MICS, and yes it is networked, and finally, yes it was a pause. F78 solved the issue. Thanks guys!

Just needed to add a new phone and one of the keys had the pause on it. Looks like;

*1 pause 3353 (voicemail dn)
