You are right. The correct forum is Nortel: Norstar Systems.
Just push down inward the back of the phone base. not difficult. reverse the base 180 degrees.
Underneath the base there is a grey plastic peice that goes under the earpeice when you hang up the phone in wall mount position, so the handset does not fall off the phone.
I would usually wall mount a smaller phone M7310 or smaller or get a new T7316e or T7308 phone.
