I've read a ton of junk about this with no real answer, so i turn to the experts:

Is there a way to run a .bat file from a login script using temporary administrator rights?

i need to get about 4 lines of dos code requiring admin rights out to a bunch of people, and our SMS is complete junk right now....need to know if i have the logon script as a shred of hope.

thanks

You might try creating a DLL that calls the WinAPI to impersonate the administrator.

You could call the DLL from VBScript but you'd have to write it in VB or another language that allows you to create a COM component.
