Quick question - Combo Box

I'm using access 2007, the database is mdb. I have a combo box but for some reason it open but does not close. It was working previously and know does not work.

Suggestions please. I tried to create another combo box using the same field (wizard) and get the same problem.

The problem was that I was linking to databases on the C drive. Once I link the database to a different drive and/or folder the problems when away.

Lesson Learned: Do not use the c drive to link tables to a front end access application.

The location of the linked tables should not make any difference. I expect the data might be different.
