No this is not my idea, but if forced, is having the print server (win2000) loaded on the Citrix Server 1.8 metaframe considered a wrong approach? Also has anyone tried thinprint in this type or similar setup?
Thanks

It's generally held that a Terminal/Citrix server should be just that - a server to manage user applications - and nothing else.

In an ideal world, all other services (File, Print, Web, etc) should be handled by other servers. At one site that was tight on budget, I implemented an old P200 with 512Mb RAM and a 9Gb SCSI disk as the printer server. The most expensive part was the additional NT license. It handled all 6 of this site's HP4s.
