if you were to have say three interface F0, F1, and V1 and you had natting set to inside V1, outside F1 through the SDM would this caus problems with communication to and from F0, even though it is an inside. if so would this problem be resolved by by setting it as a nat inside interface?

If you plan to get out to the internet from whatever is connected to f0, then
router>en
router#conf t
router(config)#int f0
router(config-if)#ip nat inside
router(config-if)#end
Also, as I see your other post, what does
router#sh ip rou
what does this show?

hmm so it would make sense that my internet stops working without nat being on that f0 interface. I kind of figured. I think that may be my other problem as well. i'm moding my config as I type this for the other one.
