Quick Launch Problems

Hi everyone

I have having a problem with my users and their quick launch. What is happening is that whenever they work offline and come back onto the network they lose their quick launch. So they can work offline, shut down their laptops (Dell Latitudes) and connect to the network and restart their machines and their quick launch always needs to be disabled and then enabled to make it appear again.

Does anyone know how i can resolve this problem?

Roaming or local profiles when they are on the network?

I suspect this is a profiles issue. If roaming, then the roaming profile could be slightly corrupt. Alternatively it could be a conflict between the local and network policy?

See if you can re-create the problem yourself with a spare laptop.

Probably the quickest solution would be to delete their profiles and let them re-create next time they log on. But ensure their work is backed up & test this with the co-operation of one user first.
