Quick fix for my border problem

When I'm viewing my sitemap page, the border on the contendholder div doesn't display, unless you take it out of view. Either by scrolling down then up, or if it was already off the screen.

The url is:
I've used the same div as the rest of the pages on my site, but none others act in this way. Could someone confirm why it might be doing this?

The divs inside that div don't overlap or anything either.

Please help...

Thanks,
Ant

Please note: this problem only shows up in IE6.0 for Windows (IE5.5 and 5 are fine). Firefox, Opera and Netscape all have no problem with it either.

I would look at removing ALL content from within the DIV and see if the border returns (in IE6). If it does... then I'd add content back in a little at a time until the problem returns. If removing the contents doesn't change anything, then the problem is most likely caused by something else on that page.

Cheers,
Jeff

Thanks Jeff.

I check all my pages on Firefox and IE6 when I make them, but I'm wondering if I overlooked this one on IE6.

I'll give that a go and report back.

Thanks,
Ant

Ok, as soon as I put in a one of the other divs, the border disappears.

Can't see for the life of me whats up with it though.

Anyone have any other ideas on what might be causing this and how I can get around it?

Maybe I'll try tables within the div, rather than divs within the div.

Duplicate the page that works and replace the contents with those from the faulty page... but do so a little at a time and test each save. There is no quick fix. You need to test your code on the target browsers as you develop. Waiting until the end... well... you know what happens [smile]

Cheers,
Jeff

Thanks Jeff. As soon as I entered in one of the colum divs it took away the border on the contentholder div.

I'm going to play with this over the weekend and hopefully fix it. If not then I'll be back here on monday lol

OK, I've had a look now that I'm home and its fine on my version of IE6.

What gives?
