I'm trying to find a way of creating a 'Quicksearch' whilst in browse mode. Basically i would like to create a text field that sits in the header and with the help of a button will search all records for matchs of the content that was typed into the text field. I would like it to search all fields in the database, so making it quite broad.

To make a quick search on one field is not so difficult.
You can do that with a self joint relationship and show the result in a portal....
But to do the same for all the fields in a file....
Don't see the need for that, but with a return delimited list with all the values of the fields, there must be a way to do that...
