Hi,
Iam hoping someone out there can help us out.
I have a customer who uses queueing for there call center.

We have the still queued set up to repeat every 120 seconds.

What we want to be able to do is to set up announcemnets to play in between the preset 120 seconds. Lets say at 300 seconds be able to insert a random message, and then again at 640 seconds with yet another message. All the while the 2nd announcement is being repeated every 120 seconds.

This switch is running 4.1.14

Any hints or help would be appreciated.

I would imagine this could be done with the conditions editor and compare, but I can't find a condition that captures the time in state to get this to function correctly.

You can use announcements but in this case it will be every 120 seconds
You cannot change this or your queue message will change too
Also you don't want to send it to another module because your queue message will not be correct anymore

You should be able to do what you want within condition editor and compare.
By using the new $TIMEQUEUED and $TIMESYSTEM variables in 4.1.27 VMPro, i think you will be able to achieve what you want. You will just have to work out the timings between the messages and all should be good. I think the $TIMEQUEUED will be the one you want. Just remember, the timings in the compare (value B for example) are in seconds, not minutes.
Cheers

Sounds like they enjoy annoying their customers if they regularly have people queueing for Ten Minutes, I doubt enyone would hear that message at 610 seconds anway

Thanks for the info Private build. I didn't realize that I could create The $ Time Queued compare.

Regards

This might mean sending the calls through voicemail every 20 secs to get the timings you want so be careful of you vm port usage.
