I'm not sure if this is the wright forum for this but this is the closest one I could find. I am doing some work for a call center and I am having some problems connecting their win98 se pcs to their TAPI server.
They have a win2k server with sp2 and TAPI 2.1. The current win98 se pcs connect to the server and dial out just fine, but when I reinstall win98 I can't get the pcs to communicate with the server.
I run tcmsetup /c /servername and I get a message telling me the client is setup sucsefully. I go into phone dialer and try to choose a line and none are listed. They are all grayed out. So far I have been ghosting the pcs to allow them to work. Does anyone have any ideas on why a fresh install of win98se doesn't connect. Am I missing something?
Thanks
