I am having some troubles getting my legend PBX to do wink singaling. My configurations are as follows:

T1, B8ZS, EFS, TEI all, Robbed Bit,

TEI - Inbound/Wink, Outbound/Wink,

Timing is coming from remote source

the problem I am having is I am not seeing the proper sequence when I am making a call into the PBX. I have been trying to get this to work on a T-Berd 224 and something just isn't right. Switch sends off-hook, the PBX winks, I send digits...and nothing else happens. If I am correct, what should happen is switch side sends off-hook, PBX winks, switch sends digits (in this case 100), PBX routes call to ext 100, when ext answers PBX also goes off-hook and there should be an audio patch. Can anyone help me with what I may be doing wrong? I am using 1 T1 on a 100D board. I have read all of the manuals and tried every combination I can try. I tried to get it to work on Automatic and that did do it either. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly apprecitate it.

Print & post your T1 translations, and perhaps we can glean something from that.

What should happen, (AND I AM NOT SEEING IT IN YOUR DESCRIPTION) - Switch sends WINK, PBX Sends WINK, digits go from SWITCH TO PBX. Phones ring, and.....

But again, that is not how you described the sequense of events.

This is not what I am seeing either. I am using a test set that I have been able to get to work on a Nortel Norstar. The test set sends off-hook, I get a wink back from the pbx, I manually send digits but it's like there are not being seen. I hooked up a monitor between the test set and the pbx and I can hear the digits so I'm not sure what's not setup right.

Have you tested the touch tone recievers?

Check that you trunks are set for the right signaling touch tone or rotary

First, find out if you have any cards that provide them.

When you are sending the DTMF toward the Legend is it on the RX side? Remember, RX and TX signals go in specific directions.

Still waiting for you to post the printout.
