Ok, so I was hired as a PC guy but, "hey you're smart, manage our phone system." I've got questions, and I've searched the forums and not found answers yet.

1)The MWI light comes on when that extension has a message but when the hunt group has a message the MWI light doesn't come on. I added HCalls (the hunt group) to the source numbers list, but that didnt change anything. Any ideas?

2)CID displays internal extensions fine but external calls show up at ???>Calls (Calls being the hunt group name) does the ??? indicate that we aren't paying for caller id (I have to talk to accounting) or is caller id not forwarded to hunt groups?

3)Ok, I posted this as a reply to another thread but I figured while I'm at it: the time won't adjust for daylight savings. Are there clock hands on the back of the unit I can twist? :p

4)Thank you in advance.

HCalls in the source numbers should cure the WMI problem

CID - this looks like you are not getting cid presented , a monitor trace on the line will confirm this

Time, The IP Office system looks for a time server on the network, this is usualy the VM server as the VM applications have an embeded time server for this reason

MWI on Analog phones you might need to turn on the MWI indication on the extension port

CID if analogue lines make sure line is set to CLID on the line form

Soopa Doopa Intergalactic IP Office installation mechanic and configuration corruptor from way back.
