Questions about the Profile DB 1

Using Sharepoint Portal Server 2003 & SQL Server 2000 Standard:

I have a few questions regarding the role of the Profile DB:
1) How do I (or can I) specify which OU's I want AD users to be imported from?
2) If I can't, then when I remove accounts from the Profile and I have the Incremental import set, how will it know to not re-import the deleted accounts? For example, I do a full import of AD Users and the Exchange SystemMailbox's are included, but then I remove them from the Profile DB.
3) When I go to set security on Area's, some users show up with the correct display name (LastName, FirstName) while some show up with their logon name (DOMAIN\e12345), why is that?

As you can tell from the questions, I am new to Sharepoint so I appreciate your help. Thanks.

Hello,

You can specify this in the settings where you schedule your AD import, you there have the choice to put in from where the imports should be done.

When you delete an account from SharePoint (profile DB, if the account still exists in the AD it will be imported).

Regarding the display name, is it correct in the AD account properties? Also if you add individual users on an area, it will show up only with Domain\username and not display the correct displayname, this can be changed by manually edit the displayname of those users.
