questions about opi and enhanced tables

what does opi (swap image?) mean and how should or shouldn't be using it for printing?

does quark 6.5 have an add-on extension such as "enhanced tables" that let you link directly to an Excel file, I got something in the mail on it but where is it on my quark 6.5. or is it something I need to buy?

So far, I did find the enhanced tables download xtension free on the quark website.
