I have a user that can't dos ping my server from home, yet she has internet access using DSL ppoe???

Any ideas????

Is your server going thru a firewall? If it is, your IP address can't be seen from the outside world. Let me know.

Wow I worded my first question bad....let me try again here.

I have a user on my network who when needs to access a server using the hard IP. She has NT workstation and while on my network she has no problems. When she goes home and uses dial-up networking(RAS??) she has to remove her nic card in her laptop to dos ping the server and eventually connect. If she leaves the nic card in she can get to the internet but she can't dos ping anything???? She just got DSL and is having the same problem, she can only hit my server with her nic card unistalled.
