We have CCM server 4.0 SP3 on MD110 BC10 version
We have been monitoring approximately 450 agents and 50 ACD groups with this system..
But after couple of days we will need no longer to monitor these amount of agents and ACD groups because of Genesys Contact center implementation. I mean CSTA data will be more important for us and CCM MIS data will have less importance for us.
Related this issue, we have some questions:

1) Is it possible to disable some ACD groups, so that the PBX will generate and send MIS data for only some of ACD groups and agents. and will not generate and send for others.
Even we remove the ACD groups from CCM Configuration Manager, will it be enough for MD110 not to generate MIS data for that ACD groups?

2) Does CTI and CCM datas make load on NIU cards? or another question is, if a same NIU card is being used for both CCM and CSTA data (CSTLI and ACFUI), will these datas effect the performance of NIU cards? Do you think that removing CCM link on that NIU card, will give us a better CSTA performance?
Some times i see some errors on some CCM or CSTA links such as "ACD MIS faulty link" or "CSTA faulty channel" Can it be related with the load on NIU cards?

3)We have 24 lims and 24 NIU cards. And each NIU cards are configured on different lims.Thinking of the MD110 whole system, what will be optimum design for us to make MIS, CSTA and CIL data load sharing on whole MD system , so that MD can work with hi performance on high traffic?

4)We configured one of NIU card for CIL data. But we are afraid that this will be a bottle-neck for traffic handling of the whole MDsystem? Is it possible to configure the system , so that each lim will generate and send its own CIL data?(When we tried to configure a NIU card to send CSTA and CIL data at he same time, it gave an error message "resource not available")

Hi cuneyt2919

I have written my comments for your questions.
Tomorrow I will add sone MML commands to these issues.

1)
Yes, it will be possible to disable the MIS output to some ACD groups, so that the PBX will generate and send MIS data for only some of ACD groups and agents, and will not generate and send for others.
MML command ACPAC...

2)
Yes,
CTI (App.link) and CCM data make (big) load on NIU cards,
If the same NIU card is being used for both CCM and CSTA data (CSTLI and ACFUI), this (big) amount of data CAN (easily) effect the performance of NIU cards!!
Removing CCM link on a NIU card, will give us a better CSTA performance. Yes! Of course!!
The ALLOP; errors seen with CCM or CSTA links such as "ACD MIS faulty link" or "CSTA faulty channel" , can easily be related with the load on NIU cards.
HINT or RULE #1. Only use SEPARATE NIU boards for CSTA, as this often is connected to the customers call centre, where the customer earns his money.

3)
Q:We have 24 lims and 24 NIU cards. And each NIU cards are configured on different lims.Thinking of the MD110 whole system, what will be optimum design for us to make MIS, CSTA and CIL data load sharing on whole MD system , so that MD can work with hi performance on high traffic?

A: Load sharing on CSTA should be done.
Where the CSTA agents are placed (LIMs), NIU boards should be installed.
The same with ACD MIS output.

4)
Q:
4)We configured one of NIU card for CIL data. But we are afraid that this will be a bottle-neck for traffic handling of the whole MDsystem? Is it possible to configure the system , so that each lim will generate and send its own CIL data?(When we tried to configure a NIU card to send CSTA and CIL data at he same time, it gave an error message "resource not available")

A:
Load sharing on CIL could be done.
CIL data can be spread out over some LIMs. NIU boards should be installed in e.g. 3 LIMs.
One board for local calls, one for long distance calls and one for international calls.

Hope that you can use this!

Best regards doktor

Hi again

1)
Concerning your Question 1):
Yes, it will be possible to disable the MIS output to
ALL ACD groups, NOT single ACD groups.
This setting is a system paramter.
MML command ACPAC:ACDNUM=2,ACDVAL=0;
To check current setting: ACPAP:ACDNUM=2;

Hope that you can use this!

Best regards doktor
