I changed the data type in two of the fields in a table and now the report won't calculate.

What should I do?

Hi

Change them back maybe?

FAiling that (assuming you have changed from say long to text) using the CLong() function in the query on which the report is based to present them to the report as numbers, there are a whole family of such functions eg CInt() etc, see help

Thanks, but that doesn't help, probably because I'm new at this. I guess I'll have to create a new report from scratch. [sad]

Thanks again!

Can you post here:
a) the data type that the fields were
b) the data type that you changed it to
c) the calculation that is performed, including any extra values used.

Thanks for replying.

I changed two fields in a table that has 45 fields.

I changed the two table fields from Number to No/Yes.

The two fields I changed on the table do not have report calculations.

When I run the report, which was working fine before the changes, the report presents itself, but none of the 14 calculations are working. The calculations are all averages.

Thanks
