I am preparing my MCSA exams and I found this question:

A company got 6 address (C class) commencing from x.y.80.0?
What's the supernet mask?

A) 255.255.64.0
B) 255.255.240.0
C) 255.255.255.192
D) 255.255.192.0

The book "says" that the correct answer is D, but I am don't understand why .... any comment?

Thanks
Leo

start of - A can't exist. Not a netmask. C is not a supernet mask. Its a subnet of a C.

So its B or D.

x.y.80.0 = x.y.01010000.0
B:...... = f.f.11110000.0
D:...... = f.f.11000000.0
