Just started reinstalling things on my upgraded machine...
Took a 5.5 second loop, left the Sync to event, set the Loop to 2, and the Effect to custom. Hit edit... And set a 3 seconds fade out by setting a square marker on the 9.5 mark up to +/- 12 seconds. The second loop is sort of grayed out, so you can miss it.
