Anyone ever try to make a gui interface for sun jdk program? Or is it even possible? If so how would one go about to do it?

That's essentially what an IDE is. A couple of questions on this forum address which IDEs to use.

If you mean write a GUI for a program, then use like the post above says an ide for RAD-development or you can use the swing or awt libraries.

This is a start.
Unfortunately it's on geocites so after around 1 person
downloads it the server will shut down the site
Saying that the max bytes have been exceeded. Oh well it's
free. It's also on freshmeat or linuxapps.com or linuxberg.
I can't remember where else. Do with it what you like.

hi, thanks for clarifying that up for me. I always refer to it "gui interface but Now I know its called IDE. Maybe because of this lack of knowledge , I couldnt find any thing on the web about it. So how does this IDE work , can someone give me more infor?
