Hi there. I need help with the following. I am interested in purchasing a Panasonic KX-TDE PBX.
Do the KX-TDA Boards work in this PBX? They are compatible?
for example SLC16, OPB3, LCOT, DHLC used in TDA work smoothly in KX-TDE?
Another question: How many units of power does each standard analog phone consume?
Thanks in advance

1) All KX-TDA boards are compatible with KX-TDE series PBXs (except of TDA0105, TDA0820, TDA0920).

2) Not an analog phone consumes power-units, but the corresponding card do it even when the phone is not connected.
E.g.: if SLC16 card is installed into PBX, it consumes 16 power-units without any phones connected to it. If DHLC8 card is installed into PBX, it consumes 8 power-units for it's analog part, and then it starts to consume additional power after you connect digital phones (1 power-unit at each KX-DT or KX-T76xx series device).

Thank you
I am trying to prepare a PBX with 48 standard telephones, Disa, and a Proprietary telephone for the operator.
From what you have written to me, I understand that I can only install a Power Unit type M (Medium) 128 PDU
because otherwise I exceed the consumption.

1 LCOT8 ( 8 PDU)
3 SLC16 (48) PDU
1 DHLC (8) PDU + 1 PDU only Hibrd Phone for Operator phone
1 OPB3 for Disa (PDU ?)

6 Cards no longer fit in TDA100 I must think of TDA200. Am i right?

That's not exactly true.

The thing is that "power-units" (PU) that described in manuals are virtual, and trunk cards (LCOT, PRI etc.) and optional cards does not consume that power-units.

That's why you can install up to 4 cards by 16 extensions using PSU type S (64 PU).

Let's calculate:
1*LCOT8 = 0 PU
1*OPB with DISA = 0 PU
3*SLC16 = 48 PU
1*DHLC8 = 8 PU for analog part + 1 PU for each Digital Proprietary Telephone (DPT).
Result: 56 PU (analog) + 1 PU (DPT) = 57 PU. PSU-S is enough.

BUT!!!! Condition about 1 PU at DPT is fair only for KX-DT or KX-T76xx series. If you use any DPT of older series (such as KX-T72xx or KX-T74xx) - they will consume 4 PU at each device as well as Hybrid Proprietary Telephones (KX-T73xx or KX-T77xx series).

And even in case of older DPT or Hybrid PT PSU-S will be enough in this configuration if you will use only 1 PT.

Thank you so much for everything!
