hey guys i just installed ikonboard on a site i'm doing..i notice all these guys are creating there own skins for iBv3..can someone help me understand exactly how to go about doing this..i can create my look and everything that i need..but which file would i alter? say for instance if you goto and view source on there board which one of those files would i alter to change the skin? would it be the ikonboard/ikonboard.cgi document?.. or is there a certain file inside the script that i would change?..a skin file maybe?..could someone please shed some light on my ignorance?..
also if ya wana see what i'm doing with it see
and click on forum..
now that site is no where near done and the buttons are all out of place i just uploaded a button real quick to call the file to see what it would look like inside that frameset..but i feel i will open it up in another window, but thats another story..like i said disregard the look of that site..it is work in progress..but i need to get this skin thing down and learn how to change it!!
oh yeh and i would also want to add a style attribute to change the color of the scroll bar..i also need to know which file to alter for that as well..also set it to 100% and scroll=no to see if i can fit it in that window on promaintenance or not without having to scroll it..probably won't happen but worth a shot anyways.. i know it would work at 1024/768 but 800/600 would be my concern..
sorry for rambling have a lot to do on this....thanks in advance........
