IS-IT--Management
see if you understand my question below
we have a root domain MAINHUB and under root domain we have three child domains
REGION1
REGION2
REGION3
they all have trusted relations
I created a universal security group under the REGION1 child domain, and assign the membership to a few users in the REGION3 child domain, their user account in membership is visible from the group I created (they are shown as "Members" property under the group) however, if I go under their individual user accounts, I do not see the group listed under their "Member Of" properties, so I guess this has something to do with they cannot access the resource assigned to that group ??
do you think I should have created/move that group to level at MAINHUB domain ? but even then the users cannot be added to that group because under their each user account the domains outside of REGION3 is not visible (only REGION3 domain is available choice in location)
thanks
