How do you guys keep all those links and information available at your fingertips to paste into posts...

do you guys look it up every time .. or do you just hit your other posts and copy and past the info...

Just wondering .. because you guys always have great information and its always up lickidy split..

Where as I would be searching on google for 1/2 hr looking for links I know I've seen/surfed before that would be helpful.

Thanks!

I use LinkStash and then in the comments section I place my own search terms:

So when I see a site, KB article, whatever, I use the LinkStash "Grab URL" feature and add my own searchable comments.

I have begun slowly using the Archive feature of the site.

I intend to start moving some replies that I make all the time on networking issues to OneNote.

Best wishes.
Bill Castner

I thank you for your comments but there is no great secret for me. I have been a regular at this forum for years, and over that time many other forum members have contributed excellent and informative articles as solutions to various questions posed. I have saved these type of articles to my hard drive as a reference.

I too make great use of Google and the MSKB.

I guess I am blessed with a good memory, and an excellent source of information, namely this forum, and all who contribute to it.

Have you considered compiling your tips into a book?

Why? It's much easier to search through, view, and use to troubleshoot when in a computerised format.

If you wanted to make a book-like thing, perhaps an online database or something would be a better alternative?
