Question regarding shortcuts...

Hey everyone,

Quick question regarding shortcuts...I know that if you made adjustments to the original object, the shortcuts linked to that object will pick up the changes accordingly. In the case of a target relational table, what if I were to delete that object and re-import the table with the same name? Would the shortcuts resume their connections to the object? Or would I have to re-create shortcuts all over the place?

I suspect (but cannot prove) that internally this is handled with objects ID's.
If you delete an object (instead of replace) the newly imported object will probably get a new repository ID.
Can't test it from were I am now..

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Oh well, wishful thinking eh? =)
