Hey everyone,
Ok so it looks like I'll be doing a patch installation for the very first time but I have some questions. Here's the current scenario:
INFA 7.1.3 (SE) patch install
AIX 5.2 operating system
Development environment
According to the instructions, it says that I can do an over-install of the current version of INFA (7.1.1) and be done with it. But according to the installation guide, there is mention of a LIBPATH variable that is used in AIX to define an absolute path. Research says that it's located in a config.sys file (which I can't find in my system) and the other concern is that other software may be affected if the LIBPATH were changed. Can anyone tell me where to find LIBPATH and whether it will affect other software? Please bear with me as I don't have much experience in AIX.
Thanks in advance,
Jisoo23
