Question Regarding Bluetooth technology

Can bluetooth be configured into a moblie device? Or does a moblie device have to be "bluetooth ready" (i.e. built in) to utilize that technology.

The reason for my question is because I have a Motion Computing M1200 Tablet PC and I would like to buy a microphone for voice recogniton purposes. I see these bluetooth ones advertised and wasn't sure if you can just
"USB in" and use bluetooth technology, is it as easy as that?

You advise is greatly appreciated.

Jeff, you would need a Bluetooth dongle for your tablet. The bluetooth microphone and the dongle can then be paired together. I would check whether the microphone is compatable with all BT devices, as some only work with certain moblie phones that already have the appropriate bluetooth receiver built in.
