Question re: hidden text in Adobe InDesign CS

Hi!

I have a question regarding attaching hidden text to a specific term in Adobe InDesign CS. Previously, in Quark XPress, we were able to use hidden XT to accomplish this task. For example, we have a glossary term in our copy that we need to invisibly attach the definition so that when we are pulling the glossary terms out, the definition will be extracted as well. Any help with this challenge would be greatly appreciated.
