question re: CCNA ICND

have a question re: the old CCNA exams:
640-801 or the two exam path 640-821 intro and 640-811 ICND.
Because I was in the networking academy I am still able to take the old exam. I have already passed the intro and getting ready for the 2nd part. My question is does anyone know if the 640-801 would be easier than 640-811? Part of me thinks it would be easier b/c the questions would be less specific and contain more from the intro part which I passed with no problem. or is the ICND easier b/c there will be less questions? any recommendations? thanks!

The 801 had mostly vlan and vtp questions when I took it (like 4 years ago), and I have heard that the two exam path may be better, since you study for the first, take it, then study for the second.
