Hi All

Currently we have VPN (RAS) in our company, every time at home after I connect to our netwrok via VPN, then I have to use Remote Desktop Connection to log in our network. Is this way supposed to be? when you are talking about accessing to a network over VPN connection.
Is there anyway that we log in our network via VPN as if we were at our office?

Thanks in advance

no you have 2 options:

1 as you described using a thin client software, e.g. remote desktop, logmein, vnc,etc whereby you take control of a pc in your office

2nd is where you vpn onto the network but now want to access resouces of the network. as you can imagine this is very slow using a typical home broadband connection, as if you want to receive info, eg. accounts, word docs, you have to drag them across the vpn.

in my exp. method 1 is the fastest, obviosly depending on what you are trying to achieve.

Until broadband gets up to speed!
