Question on using pdf files....

I would like to use pdf files on my site, but I don't know nothing about it. Can anybody recommend a good book about it or maybe somebody can just answer a few questions I have about it. For starter, what software do I need to create a pdf document, how do I create a pdf document (i.e documet with more than one pag) and how do I create a hyperlink to this document.

any help will be greatly appreciated.
 
To create a pdf file you would need Adobe Acrobat is 249 for single license.

You can simple point to the file on a server for your link.

I create my pdfs from word documents our staff creates. There is a marco that adobe installs to automate the conversion process.

If you are looking at doing a lot, ie using pdf forms populated with data from a database, I suggest
