Question on Units

We are currently using Windows 2000 Professional/AutoCad LAND DEVELOPEMENT R2 Package w/CalComp Drawing Board III, and a 16 Button Puck.

The problem we are having is keeping the UNITS set.. There is a command that is being issued that will reset the UNITS to the ACAD default.. Example I work for a Civil firm, and we use Surveyor’s Units for our angle setting, but somewhere there is a command (copy, move, rotate, etc..) that is being issued that will set it back to DEG/MIN/SEC.. We've tried hunting down which command was the culprit, but we have had no luck, maybe we are not using the "correct" combination of commands.. It has become very frustrating to have to continuously redo geometry, because we did not catch that the UNITS have changed.. Any help, thoughts, opinions would be most appreciated..

Oh well, at least it's Friday, and close to quitting time....

Thanks again in advance for any and all help.

Tom

Tom,

We've found this works, don't know why it does:

Go to projects:drawing setup:units, change the precision, then change it back to what you want.
