Question on Transfer to VMAIL

I have a BCM 400 software 4.0. Sys Update patch 20 is loaded.

If a call is transfered by user A to user B and user A waits on the line to announce the call but user B's phone forwards to VMAIL, does user A hear user B's greeting? My customer says that it used to work that way, now all they get is line>VMAIL on their display. If use A hangs up, the caller hears user B's greeting from the begining.

If user A transfers the call to user B and hangs up (blind transfer) the caller hears the greeting as well.

I don't know how it is supposed to work. Any help here?

That is correct Method Now
It use to be if A transfered to B then you would normally hear B voicemail.
NOW its changed and you get Line<v mail with silence.
Nortel expect you to be looking at your display to see promt options. off course ther is none except cancel-retry on 7316.
It now works exactly as you have stated....

Thanks for the input. The customer swears that they used to hear the person's vmail greeting then they would pull the call back. I wonder if it worked that way with 3.7. They were upgraded to v4.0 about a year ago.
