I have a report that I have formatted to display the data in two columns. All the data fits nicely on one page. However, I also want to display a total in a text box in the Report Footer section. However, when using the two column format, I cannot get the total in my Report Footer to show on Page 1 of the report. It always starts a 2nd page and is displayed, all alone, on that page.

Any suggestions on how I can get my totals text box in my Report Footer to be displayed on the same page when using columns (when the report is only 1 page long)?

Make your report section as short as possible (no space above or below the control).

Decrease your top an bottom margins for the report (I usually use .25" all the way around to give me the most space to work with).

Make sure the Force new page property is not set for any grouping you may have.
