Here is my question for those that are running sbt5.0i from a windows 2000 server.
Ok my windows 2000 server has 25 users defined, sbt has 20 users licences, only 14 users are running Sbt so i got plenty to add more users in sbt, i have defined a group on win2k server with those users that will acess folder pro50(wich is shared) and his subfolders with full control, i went to the server and under my computer, manage, share folders and when click on open files, it will show me a list of all files open for each user that are running Sbt NOW under the column "Open Mode" of each file in use by each user(ie it will show write+read, read and so on for each file), i just want to know for those of you who are running this SBT VERSION ON A WINDOWS 2000 SERVER if you can tell me if the "open mode" for some of your users on these particular files (FOXTOOLS.FLL, JKEY.FLL AND SBTTOOLS.FLL) , in my case when i check all open files for each of my users these particular files i just mentioned under the "open mode" it reads "NO ACCESS", i am wondering if this is what suppose to be ? , can anyone check that for me please, if you guys get something different like probably "READ" under the "OPEN MODE for those 3 files i mentioned above, PLEASE LET ME KNOW, and if you know why i am getting "NO ACCESS" FOR THE USERS on those files ,please can you explain why that could be.
I want to add a note here, the folder PRO50 is in share mode and the group i created wich contain only those sbt users, the group have full control, for hence to the other folders as well.
Thanks so much for your help it will be very appreciated
Ernesto

Files with the .FLL extention are like DLL's. I normally don't check their read/write status but can't see why they shouldn't be read only.

Bill,
I understand your point but i am asking if you can check for me, those files under the "open mode" column, if you are running SBT under windows 2000 server or under windows 2003 server, wich i guess will show the same as well, when i go to the server where i have sbt installed and run sbt on that server and logon into sbt, when i check for those files, they don't even show up, so i guess they only show under the open files when user run from their workstation SBT , can you help on this.
Thanks a lot
Ernest
