Does a .dll file have to be registered in the system32 folder to be added as a reference library in VBA? I have some libraries that I need for OPC Automation but they are in Program Files\Common Files\... (not system32). Will I need to copy them over to the system32 or can I just register them from where they are at?

Well, You can try banging your head against the wall, but you just end up with lost-time injuries and damaged equipment. [M. Passman]

Hope This Helps, PH.

ah, that's okay. I got an Administrator to register them for me. But thanks for the information.
