If I want some DIDs to go to the operator, but others to go direct to users how do I do this? In the Pri routing table I know I have 16 entries. How do I set the table to do this. Lets say I have 1234 and 5678 and I want these calls to go to the operator at ext 5000. Then I have 5600 thru 5649 that I want to go to extensions. The extensions are 4 digits that match the the last 4 digits of the DID.

I guess the question is how do I set a wild card for the 50 consecutive DIDs and still have the others got to the operator.

I appreciate you help.

Entry Number: 0 1 2
NtwkServ: Any service Any service Any service
Expected Digits: 4 4 4
Pattern to Match: 1234 5678
Digits to Delete: 0 4 4
Digits to Add: 5000 5000

This is from the PRI printout and this is the incoming call routing, make a default point with 4 digits expected (this might be obsolete if the system does it by default but I have always set it up) then make the next entry with expected digits 1234 and delete these 4 digits and replace them with 5000 and the same for 5678.
you should be good to go with that

Another way to handle this type of call is to use the Invalid Destination option in the DID programming section. You have two options for Unassigned DID numbers: busy tone or send the calls to the attendant or backup position.

This will work for all unassigned DID numbers. So if you have chosen to route unassigned DIDs to the attendant, then the console will get all the calls. But, if the "busy tone" option is selected, two things can happen:

1. If the calls come in on ANALOGUE DID or conventional DS1 CAS trunks the caller will receive "120 IPM busy tone" or reorder.
2. If the calls come in on a PRI facility the caller will receive intercept in the form of a disconnect or non-completion recording from the Telco switch.

When the attempt is made to set up the call between the Legend/Magix and the CO switch, there being no assigned destination for the call, the message sent back to the CO switch tells it to use the appropriate announcement to the caller.

A lot of techs don't know or realize this is the process for PRI ISDN.
