IS-IT--Management
I may be splitting hairs, here.
I am using the procedure in KB914387 to change the affected time zones. All looks good at this point.
I have a question about KB931836, though. This article has all the DST time zone settings. This article has two time zones that actually give a specific day of the month for the start/end dates for DST. For example:
(GMT-3:30)Nefoundland Start=11 March 2007 at 12:01:00 / End=4 November 2007 at 12:01:00
BTW - The other time zone that is similiar is (GMT+2:00) Jerusalem
When you run TZEDIT and highlight "Newfoundland", the result is Start=Second Sunday of March / End=First Sunday of November.
I'm wondering why start/end dates are listed in such a way for only these two timezones. Is there some significance as to why KB931836 lists the specific date and year for these two timezones? Does this indicate that the setting for those two timezones may be different for 2008?
Thanks
