When I read information into my program from an Access Database - I lose the mask that I set up. For example, for a phone number mask I set it up as "(###)### - ####". When I run the program, to enter in a new phone numbert, I have no problem, the number gets displayed as (123)456 - 7890.
However when I read it from the access database the number gets displayed as 1234567890. Does anyone know why this is happening?

The MaskEdit .PromptInclude property is set to false by default. If you want the prompt characters saved to the database as well, set the .PromptInclude = True. But make sure to allow for the additional room in the db table as well...
