I have an option 81c, when I go to LD 137 and STAT ELNK it states that elnk in enabled and gives me the IP addresses, also if I STAT IOP it is also showing enabled, my question is what is ELNK used for and does this mean that my pbx is on the network and I should be able to access the switch through telnet, please advise. Thanks

Check the back of both COREs and see if you have a transceiver plugged into the DB15 ethernet port. If so, the switched is connected to a data switch/hub somewhere. The stat of the IOP does not come into play for the ELNK. If the IOP is disabled you might have a problem.

You need to make sure you have properly Subnetted out the PBX from the rest of the Corporate lan and have a gateway to the cusotomer lan. The Nortel does not like broadcast and these could cause problems.
