I am having a problem with PageMaker 7 not letting me duplex with an HP 4600 dn on a network. This only happens with both PCL drivers. It will however duplex on a post script driver, but will start substituting fonts. Has anyone seen this? Does anyone have a fix?

Question on duplexing in a W2K platform...

Hi, nansec,
The HP LaserJet 4xxx series all seem to have problems duplexing from PM. All I can suggest is you tinker with the settings in the Printer Properties and even set the printer to duplex by default.
I'm also assuming you ahve the latest driver from HP:
Eventually most peple get it to work, if that's any consolation.

I'm not sure I understand that as PS and PCL are mutually exclusive modes, but if it works for you…!
