Question on Companies

I have a question about the number of companies that we have set up...In the Macola ES help menu, the About selection, I get a window with 4 tabs, the first being software the next lisence. We see Lisence name, number, type...next to type is companies. Ours says 8...does that mean we have 8 companies set up? Or that we could set up 8 companies with our license?

That means you are licensed for 8 companies. If you try to add a 9th company, you will have to get a new license from Exact.

I have yet to receive a straight answer on if this will cost anything or not. I just asked this question 2 weeks ago at Engage.

Ok, but our license say we are licensed for 4 companies. This must be why we are haveing problems creating a new test company. Any idea how to reset it so macola sees we are licensed for 4 and only have 1 set up?

Sorry, ment to include more...we can't create a new company the wizard runs through and at the end it just wants to start over. No database opt runs, it just won't do it. We've been working with Gary at Leahy but he's out of the office today. I should also mention we are on a integrated license with synergy.

Was just advised that there is no charge to add companies, and they are adding in blocks of 4. I would take this up with Gary on Monday. I cannot ask this specific of a question of tech support because they will ask who the end user is, etc., etc.
