Hello,

I've been asked to pull CDR on one user. I went to CDR Analysis and Reporting, then CDR, Search by User/Phone number. I see the calls from/to that number for the day they want but it doesn't show what time the call took place or duration. If I click on "View" it opens another window wanting to go to another website but that fails.

Is there a way to get a little more detail like time of the call and duration? Thanks

the view window has the info you are looking for. Not opening has something to do with your browser

It's overkill but you can goto cdr--> export CDR/CMR--> select day. Check CDR Records only. Save file txt file. Open txt file in excel as comma deliminted. Delete columns from the spreadsheet that are not needed. Convert time in excel and sort by the calling or called number fields depending what you're looking for. It's a little bit of work but It will give you ALL of the information! The more you do it the quicker it goes too. GL!

Thank you for the replies. Some of the "View" links work and some don't.... that's kinda odd.

So I pulled the cdr records for everyone and put in a spreadsheet. Still messing with it but datetimeconnect field how did you formate that? It comes in as 1347734951. Also, for duration is that seconds or minutes? I'll look at the orginal report and see if it makes sense. Thanks

So for example, from the text file it looks like 1347635267, when you select "View" on the CDR report that number should be Sep 14, 2012 08:07:47

How do I fix that within excel or while importing it into excel? Thanks

Found this online......

If you import data you might encounter time values stored as Unix timestamps. Unix time is defined as the number of seconds since midnight (GMT time) on January 1, 1970 -- also known as the Unix epoch.

For example, here's the Unix timestamp for August 4, 2008 at 10:19:08 pm (GMT):

1217888348To create an Excel formula to convert a Unix timestamp to a readable data and time, start by converting the seconds to days. This formula assumes that the Unix timestamp is in cell A1:

=(((A1/60)/60)/24)Then, you need to add the result to the date value for January 1, 1970. The modified formula is:

=(((A1/60)/60)/24)+DATE(1970,1,1)Finally, you need to adjust the formula for the GMT offset. For example, if you're in New York the GMT offset is -5. Therefore, the final formula is:

=(((A1/60)/60)/24)+DATE(1970,1,1)+(-5/24)A simpler (but much less clear) formula that returns the same result is:

=(A1/86400)+25569+(-5/24)Both of these formulas return a date/time serial number, so you need to apply a number format to make it readable as a date and time.

I use =(A2-14400)/86400+date(1970,1,1) for eastern. Then after I do this to one sell I use the paintbrush tool to change all the other fields automatically.
