Question on BCM Backups

Guy's/ Gal's when doing a Backup to a File on the network is it best to Backup the APPs and the Config or can one or the other be backed up and be enough if you need to restore the BCM, in the past I would do both but do I need to ?

i do both as well, my understanding is that the config file has ALL the info and it should be bigger than the Apps file.... the conf is the backup i use to restore a switch
